Why you should try our recipes? For one, they are healthy. That means that our recipes are full of nutrient-dense, plant-based foods. Unlike most plant-based food bloggers and cookbook authors, we don’t use high glycemic index ingredients (e.g., potatoes, bananas, cassava, tapioca). Because our recipes are plant-based, we use plenty of vegetables, herbs, legumes, almond flour, and nuts. We use saturated fats only in moderation and prefer avocado and extra virgin olive oils. We do not fry.
Our recipes are meticulously tested. That means it takes us weeks or months of researching and cooking the same dish in various versions. We experiment with common spices and herbs until we have achieved the perfect flavor and aroma.
Our recipes draw from the healthiest cuisines around the world. We hail from Moldova, which boasts a cuisine rich in vegetables inspired by Greek, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Jewish and Bulgarian traditions. In addition, we use herbs, spices, and cooking methods from around the world.
